Virgo May 2019 General Tarot Reading - Good things are coming!

This is a general Tarot reading for Virgos for May 2019. As it's a general reading it will resonate with some but not all. Take what resonates and leave what doesn't. I hope this message from spirit helps you :)

I'll start with the basic Tarot reading and then ask for clarity on the bits I feel need some more explaining. For the clarification I use my Green Witch Tarot deck, then I'll ask for some advice from my Oracle cards. 

It's weird to write this rather than simply show someone but I'm going to do my best!

I shuffle my main deck and ask for guidance for Virgos for May, it's not long before cards began to jump out of my deck. I read my Tarot slightly differently, I've taken various spreads and I read them the way that makes most sense for me. I wait for 14 cards to jump out. I lay out the first 10 and then the last 4 are my overall guidance. They're like the summary cards.

This is what I pulled .....

OVERALL:

Seven of Cups

Eight of Pentacles

Three of Cups

Four of Pentacles

There is a choice that needs to be made and it's a big one. Let's be honest we knew this was coming, we've felt it brewing for a while. This is the big choice, the one that sets all your wishes and dreams in motion. So being Virgos we're going to make sure we have all the facts in place so we can pick the right one. It's so important that we pick the right one because only one option leads to your dreams and wishes. Go with your gut, you know the right answer.

With the Eight of Pentacles showing up I'd say that this is likely a choice that will lead to new employment or a new position. Not just any old job though! This is a job you have always wanted, it will let you utilise your talents, it's work that doesn't feel like work. Something you have wished for for a long time. 

The Three of Cups is simply success, take the risk and put the work in and you can't go wrong. You'll have a reason to celebrate.

The last card here is the Four of Pentacles. It tells me that you're hesitating. Your gut, your intuition, it knows what you need to do but it's a big decision. You're afraid to lose everything you have worked for, what if the risk backfires and it all falls apart? This card says you need to let go, trust and take the risk. It's the only way to move this dream forwards. The universe can only help you so much, you need to take action.

That all being said, that's a lot of pressure hanging on one decision! Hopefully the main spread will provide some more guidance...

MAIN READING:

BASIS of the situation:Four of Wands

Your life right now is quite stable. You've got a solid job / source of income, your home life is pretty good, you've worked hard and it shows. You're in a good place and it gives you a moment to pause, relax and rest. Catch your breath. Life has been chaotic but for now it's calm, make use of it.

Helping Energy: Hanging Man

The first Major Arcana! This guys tells you that you need to look at the situation from a new perspective. Literally. If you feel that, even though it's stable at the moment, your life has become quite stagnant, then The Hanging Man lets you know that it's all down to you. He's hanging by his foot but he's put himself there. He suggests that you need a new perspective but also that you need to let go of something in the short term in order to acquire something greater in the long term. This could be the risk that the Four of Pentacles mentioned.

These two cards coming together says a lot! You're in a good place to pause, take a moment and evaluate. You can assess this choice that's coming your way from all angles, all perspectives and you'll see something you didn't see before! Then take that risk, even if it means letting go of something in the short term. It's the only way to make progress.

Foundation: Nine of Wands

This is the energy that this all sits on. The driving force. You've been working hard, trying to make good choices but you haven't seen the progress you expected or wanted. This card says that even though you're tired and you think you're out of energy and you can't keep going, that you must. Don't give up now, you're so close to success! Whatever your dream is, it's time for that last leap, the last push to get it to really take off. We come back to that calculated risk....

Immediate Past : Queen of Swords

The Queen in this situation is the reader if it resonates with you but it can also be someone else in your life. In this situation it's not gender specific. 

You've gone through a transformation. This past year has been tough and you've come out the other side a much tougher and wiser person. In comparison you're a completely different person, this is a good thing though! You're independent and take no nonsense. Total badass. This is good, this is the strength you needed to get through the last year ( I feel like this has been going on for a while) and what you need to make this decision.

Within the next three months: Five of Swords

This is not such a nice card. There is some underhandedness going on, someone around you has a hidden agenda. 

I feel like there is more to this card so I'm asking my Green Witch Tarot for clarification. 4 cards jumped out.

The Horned God and Greenman, Four of Pentacles and Seven of Cups. These cards say you alone are responsible for your actions and your choices are yours to make, no one elses. 

These tell me that you need to beware the people who are trying to 'help' you. Offering advice. They have their own agenda or something they want out of this situation and it might not be in your best interest. It's fine to ask for advice but you need to trust yourself and your own instinct. You know what's best for you.

Immediate future, three to six months: Two of Cups

The Soul Mate card. What more can I say? By November you might come across your Twin Flame / Soul Mate energy if you haven't found them already. This is the type of love and relationship that everyone wishes for.

I'll ask for clarification, I can't  leave you guys without some more information on this Soul Mate situation.

This reading has been predominately about a career path so I would say that this meeting with your Soul Mate is tied into your new career. Something about this new path will move you into the correct circles and into their path! 

A few cards came out for this one, surprise!

The first is the Ten of Swords. It's time to turn the page on your past and let go of any negativity. It's time for self healing, acknowledge the lesson you learned and move on. You can't accept this new love until you let go of past pain. Difficulties end and a new adventure awaits. 

Four of Pentacles, this card is a sign that it's OK for you to withdraw and self heal. You need some time alone to process and work on your inner self. To heal the pain the Ten of Swords mentions. This is backed up by the Four of Swords. This is a time for you to take it slow and rest. You've really had a tough year when it comes to love but you're healing and good things await you!

There is also the Three of Wands, once you've gone through your healing things are going to get better and turn out better than you expected! Whatever you imagined the universe will provide something so much better. 

The last clarifying card is The High Priestess. Simply trust your intuition as your destiny is revealed. Let go of any control you're trying to have in this love situation as the Universe is sending you something better than you could have ever hoped. This says destined love to me! Yipee!!

Energy of the situation: Moon

Oh lordy! There is a sense of confusion around this choice you need to make. You know the importance of this so you hesitate, what do you choose? While the moon suggests feelings of uncertainty it also says to look to your dreams for some answers. Sometimes the easiest way for your guides to contact you to is through your dreams. Your intuition is heightened at this time also. 

There is more to this situation than meets the eye so take your time to make your decisions, (not too long though). Then be patient and let your choice develop. There is probably more that has yet to reveal itself or reveal it's full potential once you make your choice.

I know it's tough but be patient! Let things develop for a little longer.

Advantage / Strength: Knight of Pentacles:

This is an event! Something you've waited for but not seen any progress is finally going to start moving. 

This obviously needs some clarification. What is this event!

First card is the King of Chalices, essentially this is a mentor coming to help you. This is a professional person who is coming in to provide security through accumulated wisdom. They might even invite you to a business social event where you can network and gather more advice and wisdom. 

Five of Pentacles and Nature Reversed both show that you're worrying about what might go wrong, you're maybe even fearing the changes that are coming. This mentor figure is coming through to soften these worries and guide you, to give you that security you need to make that leap of faith. 

Just don't miss out on the opportunities because you're worrying too much to notice them!

Fears and Concerns : Six of Swords

Sigh of relief! Like I've said you've been through the wringer recently but this card says you're now sailing into calmer waters. You will carry the lessons you learnt (the swords) with you for the rest of your life but they have made you stronger. It's going to be OK.

Outcome: Seven of Swords

At initial glance this card doesn't look that great but I don't have a bad feeling about it.

People may challenge your decision but you can win through and overcome any obstacles by remaining calm  and having confidence in yourself. Use your Queen of Swords energy, you're strong enough and wise enough to stand up to troubles and make it through.

As I said above, you don't need any other reassurance than your own. Believe in yourself and trust in your instincts because you're being guided. Keep going and stay strong, you can do this!

Finally I pulled some of my Moonology cards for advice.

The first is A New Start.

Pretty self explanatory but it also says forget the past and believe in your dreams. It's a good time for manifesting what you wish for. You're on target for a better path.

The second is You're Very Close To Achieving Your Goal.

All possibilities are coming to a peak. We've been feeling this for a while too. Like being one rollercoaster about to tip over a drop.
Theres work to be done though but you're almost there. Don't push too hard though, let it unfold naturally. Stay focused.

Finally Surrender To The Divine

This is a climax moon. Stay calm as events unfold it's easy to want to rush as you see your wishes start to come true. 
It's make or break time! You need to release that negative energy though, it's an anchor that's weighing you down.

You need to surrender and let the Universe work.

This is all I have for you for May but it's all looking great Virgo! There are some good things coming, but you do need to make that decision in order to see things progress and then put that work in. You're not afraid of that though, you're ready. 

This is your year!
