Capricorn May General Tarot Reading - A fresh Start.
This is a general Tarot reading for Capricorn for May 2019. As it's a general reading it will resonate with some but not all. Take what resonates and leave what doesn't. I hope this message from spirit helps you :)
I'll start with the basic Tarot reading and then ask for clarity on the bits I feel need some more explaining. For the clarification I use my Green Witch Tarot deck, then I'll ask for some advice from my Oracle cards.
OVERALL:
Four of Cups
Ten of Cups
King of Wands
King of Swords
Recently Capricorn, you've been daydreaming and fantasising about a happy home life. That perfect family and the house with the white picket fence. I get the feeling that you have a specific scenario that you have set for yourself and it's this you've been thinking about. In fact this is something that might have been taking up a lot of your day. Like the guy in the Four of Cups image, you're focusing on this fantasy to the extent that you're ignoring the real cups you already have.
There are two Kings in your overall cards, Kings aren't necessarily men, they aren't gender specific and just represent two different people. Perhaps you have a choice to make? Do you want the creative, fiery King of Wands or the strong and authoritative King of Swords?
Also this Ten of Cups energy doesn't have to be about romantic love either, it can just be of friendship. That karmic best friend energy.
Current Situation: Six of Cups
Ok, so this person you've been thinking of, obsessed with even (?) isn't a new person to you. This might be someone you've wanted to be with for a long time or maybe someone you used to be friends with, or in a relationship with. A person from your past that has now come back into your life. Someone you didn't think would come back.
Helpful Energy: Three of Wands
You've put the work in, a mixture of physical and spiritual. You've done everything you can to get this person to come back to you and now you're waiting for your ships to come in.
This person from your past is someone you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with. Could you be both the Kings from the overall cards? Was your energy originally that of the King of Wands, enthusiastic but unfocused, someone who gets bored easily? You've learnt some serious life lessons and now you've got more of a King of Swords energy. Settled and steadfast. I get the sense that you feel responsible for this past person no longer being a part of your life. You've realised your mistake and you're seeking to make amends. There's been small steps forwards and now you're waiting.
Foundation: Nine of Cups
This is the card of wishes and dreams, it shows great potential for these to come true. This is good news for you Capricorn. There's good energy in your foundation for those things you want to come to fruition. You need to put the work and do it properly but it all looks good.
Past: Eight of Pentacles
This is the apprentice card. You've been learning and working hard. I get the feeling you've been doing personal work, inside and out. Something happened that made you realise you couldn't keep going the way you were. You were turning in circles and wondering why you weren't making any forward progress. You've realised this now though and put in some work to change. I get the feeling that you have done nearly a 180 degree turn. Be careful though, it might be such a change that the people around you might not believe it. Especially if the person you're trying to prove this to is someone you're old behaviour has hurt in the past.
Within Three Months: Four of Pentacles
There was some fear in the past, some worry. Normally this card would show that you were holding on very tightly to all of your achievements, material possessions. To me though, this feels more like holding onto old beliefs and behaviours. That would fall in line with this 180 degree inner change that you've gone through. The Four of Pentacles suggests that you need to let go of these things that you have been holding on to so tightly. Take a leap of faith as it were and try something new, take a new path. Put the lessons you learnt to good use.

With these two guys together you'll be able to meet challenges as you enter a new phase in a relationship. Again this could be romantic or a friendship. Basically you're set to take that leap of faith, it might not be all smooth sailing but you'll overcome any problems with your new outlook and changed behaviours. Good for you Capricorn!
Three to Six Months: Knight of Pentacles
There is good news coming in for you. The thing you have patiently waited for, but as of yet seen no progress, will now start to move forward. The knight of Pentacles is the slowest knight in the deck but his good news is assured. Slow and steady wins the race!
I always like to know what this event will be so I clarified...
Three of Chalices and Six of Wands is simply achievement and success, a reason to celebrate. So this knight is definitely bringing though wishes and dreams to you. I didn't exactly say what but maybe that's half the message, you need to just trust that these things are coming.
Surrounding Energy: Knight of Cups
This is the relationship knight, he brings a lot of emotional energy and excitement when he appears in a reading. I'm not sure if this is because of your actions Capricorn or from someone else.
Queen of Swords Reversed and Ace of Swords Reversed:
Ok, this looks like you offering your emotions out to someone else. The person it refers to is suspicious of you and your motives. They don't trust you and I get the sense that they pulled away from you. They separated themselves from your energy, maybe this was something you never thought would happen? With your King of Wands energy you never really thought they would go.
This is the Queen of Swords though and with the King of Swords as your new energy, they do make a pair. Soul mate energy isn't always romantic, I can't stress that enough, soul mates can be best friends or even family. The Ace of Swords is a strong source of energy as well and does hold potential for a positive outcome.

This is definitely the end of a cycle. Something has changed, or maybe it's just that you have changed and you're ready to leave the past behind. You've been through a lot, you've been hurt and possibly hurt others but you've done some healing and you're ready for your new cycle and a fresh start. A clean slate...
Fears and Concerns: Ace of Pentacles
This is a card for new beginnings and this worries you. Your new approach to life might be a bit daunting. You're leaving behind the familiar and putting yourself out there which can be scary. Again I get the sense that you're starting from scratch and as you offer your apologies to this Queen of Swords. Considering how bad this separation was perhaps you're worried that the other person will reject you. The other cards say you shouldn't worry but you should definitely be prepared for the Queen of Swords energy to make you work for it. She's feisty and won't take any nonsense.
Outcome: Star
Simply wishes. This card brings a sense of hope and optimism, it asks that you have faith and trust that good times are ahead. Any rifts in relationships are being healed.
It might not be what you planned for but it will be better than you expected. If you saw this as a romantic relationship it might turn out to be the best friendship you have ever had. Or the other way around, a friendship that turns romantic. However it turns out it will be more fulfilling.

A Win-Win Outcome is Forecast: Full Moon in Libra
This is the sign of partnership. A card of conclusions, an important relationship is changing, evolving. People come into your life for a reason but it's time for your to focus on yourself for a while. Whatever the outcome it will be a positive one.
